My fee

The charge is 45 € per hour and the minimum order value is 15 €. There is no german VAT according to $19 UstG. For orders above 500 € I ask for a 25% deposit in advance. Together with your transcription, you will receive the invoice which can be payed by bank transfer.

The compensation for my work depends on the degree of difficulty as well as number of pages to be translated. Newer texts (19^th and 20^Th century) are usually easier and quicker to read than older texts.

In the past, there were no DIN standards and page formats varied widely. Therefore, I work according to time spent and not exclusively according to the number of pages.

You will receive my offer free of charge after a review.

It is needless to say that your documents will be treated confidentially.

The offer will consider your format of choice in which you’d like to receive the transcription; pdf or a printed postal letter.
